What if a Course or Program I want to take is full?
Many ULiveandLearn courses are repeated regularly, and you can easily find out when the course will be taught again by checking the Course Catalog. You may also request notification of the next opportunity to participate in a course or program by sending an e-mail to support@uliveandlearn.com.

Most of ULiveandLearn's online courses are available all the time and do not limit the number of participants. There may be opportunities to interact with learning groups or the course instructor. If there are scheduled interactive sessions, you will be notified of these events.

TeleClasses and Web-based seminars and workshops often have a limit on the number of participants. Once a course reaches its limit, registration for that course will be closed (even if the course hasn't yet started). If you find that a course you want is full, you may request notification of the next opportunity to participate in this course or program by sending an e-mail to support@uliveandlearn.com.

What if I need help "using the delivery system" for the course?
We have developed a comprehensive Learning Orientation for all users. You can review this guide before you take a course by going to the Learning Orientation Guide. Likewise, we invite you to take a free course to see how the online courses work.

How much time do I have to complete my course?
As long as you are an active ULiveandLearn member, you will have access to your online courses, unless otherwise specified in the course description.

Currently, ULiveandLearn supports Netscape Navigator 4.03 or higher and Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher.

What is a plug-in and how do I know if I need one?
A plug-in is a program that enhances your browser, enabling you to do such things as access streaming audio or video or use interactive features. Certain ULiveandLearn self-study courses require widely used plug-ins. If there is a required plug-in, it will be noted in the system requirements section under the course description and we will provide a direct link to the free plug-in.

How do I change my password, or any other personal information under my account?
To change your password, simply clicking on "My Learning Links", which appears on the left navigation bar once you log in. At the top of this personalized page, there is a link that will direct you to the Update Member Information page; where you may submit your changes in this password-protected area. This function should be used to update any of the available fields on the page, such as your a-mail address and phone number.

What is a Web-based seminar or workshop?
When you participate in a live Web-based seminar or workshop, your desktop is your virtual classroom. The visual presentation appears directly on your computer screen. The audio portion - the presenter's voice - also comes right to you through your computer.

It is possible to communicate with your instructor through the use of a chat area that will appear on your screen. All of the sessions are highly interactive and you are encouraged to ask any questions that you may have during and after the program.

Before completing workshop registration, you will be given an opportunity to test your system capability with the seminar or workshop delivery system. We recommend that you complete this and make sure that you can connect to your seminar or workshop properly.
